The project consists of furnishing and installing 650 lf of 97-inch diameter welded steel water transmission bypass pipeline, installation of approximately 90 lf of 36-inch diameter welded steel pipeline and 60 lf of welded steel pipeline which transitions from 97-inch diameter to 42-inch diameter. Installation of an MWD-furnished 36-inch motor-operated butterfly valve including associated electrical and instrumentation. Furnish and install buried piping cathodic protection systems, perform modifications to both the inside and outside of an existing above-ground 5 million gallon steel water reservoir, perform tie-in work and connections to existing 97-inch welded steel water transmission pipelines. All tie-in work, including demolition, removal and replacement of the existing 97-inch welded steel pipeline is to be performed within 7 calendar days, working two 12 hour shifts.
