This project involved the emergency installation of a new 36-inch diameter treated effluent discharge pipeline in San Clemente, California. While the existing 36-inch pipeline remained in-service, Gantry Crews performed two (2) 36"x 24" Hot Taps, installed approximately 500 lf of new 36" DIP pipeline within 10 feet of the existing in-service effluent pipeline, and then performed two (2) 36" Line Stops. The existing deteriorated pipeline was then cut and plugged and the new pipeline was then placed into service.
