This project consists of the fast-track construction of a sanitary sewer pump station and force main in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Principal features of the pump station included site grading and excavation, the installation of approximately 430 lf of 15-inch PVC gravity sewer and 105 lf of 12-inch PVC gravity sewer, the installation of 4-foot diameter pre-cast concrete manholes, the installation of a pre-cast concrete wet well, valve and meter vaults, the installation of high-performance wet well and manhole coating systems, submersible sewage pumps and controllers, electrical and instrumentation, and an emergency stand-by generator system. Principal features of the sewage force main included the installation of approximately 6200 lf of 6-inch ductile iron pipeline, 4100 lf of 8-inch ductile iron pipeline, associated air release and vacuum valves and valve vaults, the installation of 150 lf of 36-inch steel casing by jack and bore methods, the installation of approximately 100 lf of 16-inch and 18-inch steel casing by open cut methods, replacement of existing asphalt paving as well as concrete curb, gutter and sidewalks.
