The scope of work includes the removal and disposal of two existing traveling water screens, two existing debris separation screens, all supports, wash water pumps, valves and all related piping systems. Additional demolition work includes the abatement of both lead based paint and PCB contaminated sealants.
New work includes the designing, fabrication and installation of three new dual flow rotating screens including all supports, gratings, pumps, piping, spray wash facilities and control systems. Design, furnished and install one electrical operated by pass slide gate and control system and constructing supporting concrete framework and related facilities. Furnish and install four sets of new canal structures trash racks, supports and electric winch lifting facilities. Refurbishment of the existing algae removal facilities, removing and disposing of the existing stand-by generator and fuel tank. Furnish and install one 600 kW stand-by generator system, switchgear and fuel system.
