The project consisted of the demolition of existing reinforced concrete slab and foundation system and construction of a new reinforced concrete secondary containment structure at a carbon recycling facility. Principal features of the work included the staging of equipment, materials and supplies in anticipation of a 7 calendar-day plant shutdown. All demoltion and new construction work was performed working 24-hours per day during the 7 day shutdown period.
